The Wonders of Nanomedicine

An "electronic skin" capable of transmitting information about blood pressure, heart rate and human respiration via Bluetooth has been demonstrated by scientists from the University of Uppsala, Sweden.

The device, created by Chinese scientists working in Sweden, uses liquid metal (so in the text – VM), a silicone plate, as well as microchips made on the basis of nanotechnology.

A unique device that, due to its high tensile strength, can be bent and stretched, is attached to certain areas of the body. After that, the "electronic skin" is able to transmit data on a person's health status to the nearest computer or mobile phone in real time using wireless communication.

Scientists are confident that in the near future their development will find wide application in everyday life and will help people with heart diseases, respiratory organs, as well as those suffering from epilepsy.
