Atherosclerosis and diabetes – payment for resistance to cold?
The fight against aging is a large—scale task and is beyond the power of any one scientific group. In terms of complexity, it is comparable to S.P. Korolev's project to launch the first satellite or the "world project" to decode the human genome. Hundreds of laboratories, including the US National Institute of Aging, are struggling to solve this problem in the world. To date, there are more than 300 scientific theories of aging.
